Purpose of this orientation: It provides a basic concept and philosophy of Chen Family Tai Chi to new beginners and students from other schools. It also helps people understand and experience what the true Tai Chi is about. In addition, it helps people choose the best suitable Tai Chi program for their need
What to cover: History of Chen Family Taijiquan, Chapter 76 from the Book of the Way, CNS vs PNS, Fang Song (Calming Mind Practice & Relax Head Neck), Reelin Silk (Single Hand Reeling), Explosive Power (Fajin: Protect Heart Fist) with detailed explanation and Teachers’ Tai Chi demo (1st and 2nd Road)
Registration: online registration is highly recommended to minimize registration time with walk-ins
When to happen: It opens on every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 3 PM – 4:30 PM except national holidays and is taught by CBTA USA's certified teachers.
Requirement to open orientation: minimum 3 participants. If less than 3 people, it will be cancelled.
Prerequisite: no prerequisite required
Tuition: $30 (1.5 hours for orientation)
