Led by the Intangible Culture Successor, Master Bosco Baek, this comprehensive apprenticeship and teacher course takes place in a private setting, where a master trainer provides personalized instruction. Semi-private or small-group settings may be utilized for certain practices such as Push-Hands (Tuishou) or weapon training. Throughout the program, Academy candidates receive unparalleled guidance and mentorship from Master Bosco Baek.

Membership Options:

01. Administration Fee (one-time joining fee): 

To join the Academy membership, a nonrefundable $250 administration fee is required. This fee is a one-time payment.

02. Contract Membership Option (with auto-pay):

- 24-month membership: $350 per month (Paid automatically on a monthly basis for the duration of 24 months)

01. Flexible Training Hours: As an Academy member, you have the freedom to schedule your training sessions based on your availability and preference during the designated membership hours. This ensures a personalized and focused learning experience within a private or semi-private setting.

06. Teaching Opportunity: Certified teachers within the Academy membership have the opportunity to teach classes at CBTA USA or at Chen Village Tai Chi (CVT) with teaching compensation. To become a certified teacher, you will need to meet certain criteria and undergo the necessary training and evaluation process.

07. Opening a CBTA USA Branch: Certified teachers are eligible to open a CBTA USA branch anywhere, subject to certain requirements and guidelines. CBTA USA will provide guidance and support in establishing and maintaining the branch, ensuring adherence to the principles and standards of Chen Family Taijiquan.

Auto-Renewal:

Please note that all memberships will automatically renew unless a member notifies us before the full maturity date. To discontinue your membership, please notify us at least 4 weeks before the maturity date to ensure that the renewal is stopped.

Early Termination Fee:

Please be aware that an early termination fee of $500 will be applied if cancellation occurs before the maturity date. This fee is non-negotiable and applies without exception.
