Our mission is to preserve and promote the original Chen Family Taijiquan, the mother form of Tai Chi. Rooted in the classical teachings developed in Chen Village, we strive to:

Educate: Enhance physical and mental well-being through authentic Tai Chi practice.
Preserve: Uphold the original martial arts principles, forms, and techniques passed down through generations.

Under the guidance of Master Chen Bing, a 20th-generation descendant of Chen Wangting, and Master Bosco Baek, the Intangible Culture Successor, we ensure that this profound martial art remains accessible and relevant for future generations.

Chen Village in the USA

Chen Bing Taiji Academy USA (CBTA USA) is the premier Chen Family Taijiquan academy in the United States, located in Los Feliz, Los Angeles. Certified by Master Chen Bing and the Chen Village Martial Arts Association, it serves as a hub for enthusiasts, apprentices, and professional instructors.

In 2017, CBTA USA was designated the official "Birthplace of Tai Chi Promotion Center" in the USA by Jiaozuo City, underscoring its authenticity and leadership in preserving Chen Family Taijiquan.

In 2023, Chen Bing Taiji Academy USA (CBTA USA) became a proud subsidiary of Chen Village Tai Chi (CVT), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This strategic partnership enables both organizations to work synergistically while focusing on their unique missions:

Chen Village Tai Chi (CVT): Dedicated to community-focused initiatives, including free monthly Tai Chi classes, Public Programs, and Trademarked Tai Chi Programs, fostering accessibility and well-being.
Chen Bing Taiji Academy USA (CBTA USA): Specializes in advanced apprenticeship programs, providing rigorous training for those pursuing professional mastery and instructor certification.
