CBTA USA imparts classical teachings in the Chen Family Taijiquan (陳氏太極拳) – the mother form of Tai Chi. It's from this foundational style that all other prevalent Tai Chi styles, such as Yang, Wu, and Sun, have ultimately derived.

Master Bosco Baek holds the title of Chen Village Intangible Culture Chen Family Taijiquan Excellent Successor (陈家沟非物质文化 陈氏太极拳优秀传承人), commonly abbreviated as "Intangible Culture Tai Chi Successor."
He has the distinct honor of being the sole recipient of this title in North America by the birthplace of Tai Chi, Chen Village.

Simply moving slowly or focusing solely on a soft, slow form does NOT capture the true essence of Taijiquan (Tai Chi). To understand and embody Taijiquan authentically, one must look beyond just slowness and softness.
Classical Chen Family Taijiquan emphasizes the dynamic interplay and balance of energies – transitioning between hardness and softness, and between fastness and slowness.
